How do I prep for a curly hair cut appointment?
For your curly cut appointment, please arrive with your hair dry, down, and in its natural curly state—styled as you typically wear it, with minimal product.
The day before your appointment, wash, detangle, and style your curls as usual, allowing them to dry naturally or with a diffuser. Please avoid ponytails, braids, clips, or hats on the day of your appointment, as we need to see your curls' natural pattern and shape.
We'll begin with a dry curly cut to sculpt the shape based on how your curls fall naturally. After the cut, we’ll cleanse, hydrate, and style using AG professional curl products, followed by diffusing to finish.
Please allow approximately 1.5 hours for your appointment.
What products do we use?
Each curly haircut is styled with a curated selection of professional products designed to bring out the best in your natural curls. We begin with AG’s Clarifying Shampoo to gently remove buildup and refresh the hair and scalp. Next, we nourish and hydrate using AG’s Hydrate or Curl line, restoring moisture and softness. Curls are then carefully detangled and styled using a custom blend of AG Curl Defining Creams, Gels, and Mousses, along with select favorites from the Unite and DevaCurl lines. Every curl is then diffused and styled with love, leaving your hair defined, bouncy, and beautifully hydrated.
